Empowering Lives Globally

Mothers. Education. Love. Impact.

Founders' Note

We — Alicia Alleyne, Karen Osborne, and Cavelle Davis — came together across borders, professions, and personal experiences with one shared purpose: to close the gaps we’ve seen and lived through in maternal health, early childhood education, and community care. Each of us brings a different lens to this work, yet together, our vision is deeply aligned.

Alicia Alleyne, MBA, founder of Alleyne Consulting Group and an operations and strategy expert, has spent her career helping municipalities and private and community organizations build structure and sustainability. As the lead behind Partnership, Alicia ensures that our philanthropic and outreach efforts are thoughtful, well-supported, and community-driven.

Karen Osborne, LPN, a devoted maternal and infant wellness advocate, leads Pulse, the healthcare arm of our work. With years of hands-on experience in labor, postpartum, and newborn care, Karen anchors our mission in clinical knowledge and compassionate care for mothers and babies.

Three Peas and a Pod was born from a simple belief: that every child deserves a nurturing beginning, and every caregiver deserves a strong, supportive village. Inspired by families across developing communities and grounded in compassion, we began with crayons, care kits, and comfort.  Today, that mission has grown into a collective effort — to walk with mothers, light the path of learning, and show up for children when it matters most.

Cavelle Davis, MBA, owner of PitPat Play — a vibrant classroom and play space in Trinidad — brings the expertise of early learning to our third pillar, Pathway. Her work in early childhood development is a testament to the power of play, structure, and nurturing environments in shaping confident, capable children.

Together, we are Three Peas and a Pod — a collaborative built to grow generational change through care, education, and intentional giving.  One mission, three paths of care. Our work supports children and families through three interconnected pillars:* Pulse – * Pathway * Partnership – that guides every initiative and impact day. Together, they represent a full-circle approach to nurturing life — from the earliest heartbeat to the first classroom experience and beyond.

As we expand, we are actively laying the groundwork to become a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit/NGO, allowing us to deepen our impact and access the resources needed to better serve families and communities across borders. We’re honored to do this work — and even more grateful to build it alongside you.

With gratitude,

Alicia, Karen & Cavelle
